Massive Attendance At Tetegu Clean Up

The attendance was massive with both young and old willing to clean up the neighborhood.

This sums up the euphoria that marked the Tetegu version of Operation Clean Your Frontage on Saturday, 24th September 2022.

Earlier on Friday, 23rd September 2022, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly (WGMA), Hon.  Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, had ensured that all logistics needed from the Municipal Assembly were made ready for the day.

Hon. Bright Kwame Adabra, the Assembly Member for the Tetegu Electoral Area, his Unit Committee members and members of the community, as early as 5.30am, were seen sweeping and de-silting the drains on the main Tetegu road.

The clean up exercise was done with collaborators such as Expert Borlaman, Prosperous Executive Mens Club, Go Higher, K-End To End Solution and the Muslim community, who assisted in diverse ways to make the exercise a success.

Present at the clean up were Hon. Andrew Oppong Amoako, the Presiding Member, Hon. Martin Agyei, Assembly Member for Mallam East, Hon. Augustina Asantewaa Asiedu, Assembly Member for Djanman, Mr. Julius Sarpei, PRO and Environmental Health Officers of  the Municipal Assembly.

Zoom Lion Limited trucks and staff were on hand to pick up the refuse piled up during the exercise.

Hon. Adabra, in an interview, said the community is putting a routine clean up exercise calendar in place to ensure the sustainability of the programme.
