HON. KUMOR AT NAFAC @ 60

 The National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFAC), a biennial week long activity, has been celebrated in the

Central Regional capital of Cape Coast.

Under the theme, 'Reviving Patriotism, Peace and Unity through Cultural Diversity for Sustainable Development', the festival was held at the Adisadel School Park from Monday, 12th to Friday, 16th December 2022.

The special guest of honour was the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Hon. Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly (WGMA) represented the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Henry Quartey (MP) and delivered an address on his behalf.

This year's celebrations marks the sixtieth (60th) anniversary of NAFAC.

It is the biggest cultural festival which is celebrated on rotational basis.

It provides the opportunity to showcase the country's ethnic and regional cultures, their creativity, ingenuity which whips up the enthusiasm and entertainment of its people.

NAFAC seeks to stimulate unity and peaceful coexistence among the various communities and ehnic tribes in Ghana.
