The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Hon Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor has charged National Service Personnel posted to the Municipal Assembly to be diligent and submissive as they embark on the mandatory one year service to the nation.

Hon Patrick Kumor (MCE), said these on Thursday, 5th September 2019 at the assembly hall of the Institute for Technical Supervision (ITS) on the premises of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly.

The occasion was the orientation programme for the 2019/2020 batch of service persons.

The MCE was flanked by the Acting Municipal Coordinating Director, Mrs Nancy Pertey and other heads of departments of the Municipal Assembly.

He encouraged them to learn new things during their stay and desist from loitering and gossiping.

' I was once like you and today l stand before you to advise you,' he said.

The Acting Municipal Coordinating Director, asked them to enjoy the period of their stay and refrain from the indiscriminate use of mobile phones.

Other departmental heads took turns to advise them.

The service persons are expected to complete their service in August 2020.
