Oblogo Mounts Barriers To Curb Accidents

Residents of Oblogo in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality will be having  barriers mounted at the junction with Gbawe Top Base.

 

The erection of the  barriers by the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly and supported by the Oblogo community, is to curb accidents which occur frequently at the junction with Gbawe Top Base. 

 

The Member of Parliament for the Weija-Gbawe Constituency and Deputy Minister for Health for Health, Hon Tina Naa Ayele Mensah erected some barriers along the road some time ago to protect the Oblogo school children from being run down by vehicles. 

 

During a visit to the site by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Hon Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor and the Municipal Coordinating Director of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Mrs Mercy Quansah, the chief and elders of Oblogo thanked the MCE for the swift response to assist the community. 

 

The project is expected to be completed on Monday 28th January 2019.
