The Municipal Chief Exective (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Hon Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, on Friday,  10th January 2020 inspected work being done on the Gbawe Telecom to Awoshie road.

Hon Patrick Kumor was accompanied by the Municipal Roads Engineer, Eng Daniel Sowah and other Engineers from the Urban Roads Department.

The stretch of the road from CP Last Stop to the Awoshie Lat Stop was being sealed with Bitumen at the time of the inspection.

Receiving the Municipal Chief Executive, a representative of the contractors, Messrs Town and Concrete Products Limited, said the bitumen application is the first stage of the sealing process. He said, after it seals, the final coating will be applied  in  three weeks to complete the project.

Hon Patrick Kumor (MCE) commended the contractors for their commitment to the project and, as usual, demanded value for money.

Members of the community newsmen spoke to, expressed relief and satisfaction at the rate at which the project was being undertaken.

They thanked the President, the Member of Parliament for the Weija-Gbawe Constituency and the Municipal Chief Executive for the actualization of their dream.
