Sod Cutting For Clinics At Tetegu And Wiaboman.

Sod cutting for clinics at Tetegu and Wiaboman.

The two communities of Tetegu and Wiaboman in the Weija-Gbawe municipality on Monday, 17th December 2018, witnessed  sod cutting ceremonies for the construction of clinics.

An initiative and campaign promise of the Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Health, Hon Tina Mensah, in 2016 had seen the light of day.

At the two separate events, which saw the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Patrick Kumor, Hon Tina Mensah, Municipal Coordinating Director, Mrs Mercy Quansah, the chiefs of the two communities and a host of other dignitaries, sod was cut for the commencement of the construction of a clinic and staff quarters.

Hon Tina Mensah said she is happy the projects would be started at this time. She further stated that she would continue to lobby for developmental projects for her constituents.

Hon Patrick Kumor, on his part, said these projects would not be the only projects the two communities would have. He said a lot of projects would be executed in the near future.

The MCE asked the contractors to factor in local labour by using the youth in the communities. He also asked the youth to avail themselves when the projects start.

The chiefs of both Tetegu and Wiaboman thanked the entourage and like Oliver Twist, asked for more.
