MCE joins top notch to mourn Obrempong.
The MCE for the Weija/Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Hon Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, today 19th October 2018, joined some top officials to mourn with the chiefs and people of Ngleshie ( James Town-British Accra) Traditional Area during the funeral rites of their late paramount chief, Obrempong Nii Kojo Ababio V.
The delegation was led by the Mayor of Accra, Hon Mohammed Adjei Sowah.
Other members included MP and Deputy Minister for Health, Hon Tina Naa Ayele Mensah, MP for Bortianor/Ngleshie/Amanfrom, Hon Habib Saeed and MCE for Ga South, Hon Joseph Nyarni Stephen.
The rest were the CEOs of the Premix Fuel Committee and Coastal Development Authority, Hon Nii Lante Bannerman and Hon Jerry Shaibu Ahmed.
They were met on arrival by a representation of some of the chiefs which included Hon Stanley Nii Adjiri Blankson.
Hon Adjei Sowah, leader of the delegation, made a presentation of cash, assorted drinks and boxes of bottled water to the chiefs.
The chiefs, led by the Adonten Mantse, thanked the delegation for the kind gesture.
The delegation later paid their respect to the late chief who had been laid in state.
