MCE at dredging site

As a follow-up to visits made to the various communities along the dam spillways, the  Municipal Chief Executive of the Weija Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Hon Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, today 24th October 2018, was on site at Tsokome to oversee the opening of outlets to enhance the free flow of the spillage.

Today's event, which will go a long way to ease the discomfort of residents, was supervised by NADMO officials and a detachment of military and police.

In an interview, Hon Patrick Kumor said this is the first step towards finding a permanent solution to the issue. 

The MCE continued by saying that the Assembly would collaborate with other stakeholders to explore the possibility of re-engineering the flow as pertains in other countries.
